I've only seen this species once, in the rough area at the west end of of St-Lazare sand pits.
This is a female.
They fly July through September

- In 2003 my wife Sandra and I moved to Quebec. It continues to be fun. Being a Squarehead my French is lousy but actually improving. My knowledge of Quebec's birds is expanding too, enough so that I can now look at Butterflies and Dragonflies. I've been birding since TV was black and white, seen a few, found a few and still daft enough to get up at dawn in the hope finding new birds.
